In a recent highlight Mr. Porter gave us a taste of the new wears they are carrying with Miguel being the gent to don the threads. Although they were presenting F/W 2013 pieces, Miguel still remained true to his personal style.
Alongside the style update, we were given an interview by Dan Cairns on the R&B singer. Although it is very clear that he is more than that, Miguel represents what style is supposed to be…a force that is always evolving and progressing- an adaptive state of being. Miguel even puts it into a life lesson: “I put myself on the line creatively every day because I need to as a human being. That’s what makes me happy, what makes me feel fulfilled, what keeps me sane.”

In this story with Simon Nessman as the main face, we see prints taken to a height of wearability that fits in with reality. Bold yet tasteful, we can foresee that prints will have a welcome revival based on the way they are donned here.
We are reintroduced to well known brands that have certainly gotten it right when it comes to style and luxury. Wearing various designers such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Etro and others, Simon Nessman embodies the attitude of a true gent even in the middle of nowhere.

In this story presented by Essential Homme we see the many ways leather can be incorporated into ensembles. Some are part of the norm such as leather pants or leather bomber jackets, but others are far out in design and opens your mind to endless possibilities. In one look we see a poncho and in another a leather zip jacket that incorporates a cable knit pattern.
From this story, we can see that the sky is the limit and what is thought to be final may not be so. Continually pushing the envelope is necessary in order to move to the next level. Although to some these photos just seem like a pile of clothes, we are presented with a life lesson: In every stitch, strive for excellence.
